Welcome to Yearly Planner ("we," "our," or "us"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy will inform you as to how we look after your personal data when you visit our website and tell you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

We may collect, use, store and transfer different kinds of personal data about you which we have grouped together follows:

4. Google User Data

Our application uses Google Sign-In, Google Calendar API, and Google Tasks API. When you sign in with Google:

  • We authenticate your identity using Google's services.
  • We request access to your Google Calendar to display and manage your events within Yearly Planner.
  • We request access to your Google Tasks to display, create, update, complete, and delete your tasks within Yearly Planner.
  • We do not store your Google password.
  • Data accessed from Google Calendar and Google Tasks is used solely for providing the planning features of the application and is not shared with third parties for advertising purposes.

5. Data Security

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorized way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know.

6. Data Retention

Yearly Planner does not store your Google Calendar or Google Tasks data on its servers. All calendar and tasks data is fetched in real-time from Google's servers using your OAuth access token and is only held in your browser's memory during your active session. When you sign out or close the application, no calendar or tasks data is retained. Your OAuth refresh token is stored securely in an encrypted session cookie to enable automatic re-authentication.

7. Google API Services Disclosure

Yearly Planner's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
